This Intrepid 17 affectionately named Puddleduck has taken our family on rivers throughout the Southeast. She has been a perfect family boat carrying gear for camping trips, day trips, explorations and quiet exploration. Stable and fast with stability that my wife absolutely requires when I stand to cast or look ahead. We’ve looked at kayaks and keep coming back to our Mohawk. Fast enough, steady and capable of carrying everything needed for comfortable camping for those of us over 50. Puddleduck now resides on the Upper Suwanee river in North Florida and explores new water whenever possible
