About Blue Dragon

"James D. Spurgeon III retired as a lieutenant colonel from the U.S. Air Force in 1993 after 23 years of service. He spent about half of that time on assignments in the Orient. After combat tours in Southeast Asia, He returned for tours in Taiwan , Republic of China; the Philippines ; and Thailand . Most of his career was spent in Special Operations -- sometimes at a desk, sometimes navigating special operations aircraft, and sometimes jumping out of them. He has used the name "Blue Dragon" in business since 1978, when He established the Blue Dragon School of Diving in Montgomery Alabama while stationed at Maxwell AFB. While there, He was also an adjunct professor in the College of Business at Alabama State University .
